Today my family and I took a drive to enjoy all the beautiful colors that Fall brings to this gorgeous state. The weather was perfect. Everything about it was perfect from the temperature to the bright blue cloudless skies. I bribed the kids with a few treats to take some pictures for me… it’s not something they enjoy doing very often so bribes are often the only way I can get them to stay still for a minute and not hide from me. Okay, okay, the baby will let me take a picture whenever I want, no bribing required.

Last weekend we invited not one but three children over to stay the night. We played outside after a pizza dinner and soaked in one of the last warm evenings of summer. Shortly after we came inside to get everyone settled down for a movie, the storm took over and the rain poured down. I love this picture of Amanda. Clearly she was enjoying the evening as much as I was.

This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting the wife of my son’s teacher. They were both so sweet and lovey dovey. Dad kept giving her kisses and massaging her shoulders. Total love going on there! They are expecting their first little girl next month and I can’t wait to meet her as well.
