I don’t know about you but I’m always looking forward to when my children can do certain things. “I can’t wait until he/she starts smiling”, “I can’t wait until he/she starts crawling”. You get the picture right? All is great when they hit that milestone but then I find myself wondering why it’s going by so fast. Maybe because we’re looking forward to the future? Or maybe it is true that the older we get, the faster time flies by. And no, I’m not saying that I’m old. I’m just sayin’.

Ashton turned 6 months this past week. Next thing I know, he will be trying to get away from the camera when I take it out. Oh, the joys. This age is so much fun. He is so giggly and loves to be the center of attention… hmmm, I wonder where he gets that from? haha

Getting my children to take pictures without running and screaming is hard… they want nothing to do with it for the most part. Fortunately for me, Ashton can’t run far. I make the best of it and take as many pictures of him as I can… see, there is a reason behind having pictures of him here and not many (if any at all) of the bigger kids. His wife will love me some day for it. Well, that’s at least what I tell myself.

I started off the New Year right with this perfect 4 day old angel. Baby J came into this world as a big baby weighing in at 9lbs 3oz. He was so snugly and lovable and slept most of the time for me. What a good baby! He has an older sister and brother that adore him so much… I love seeing the interaction between siblings. He sleeps good for mommy and catch this, daddy actually changes diapers! Thank you for letting me love up on your beautiful boy!
