Mine on Monday | Inland Empire Photographer

Whenever I start thinking that my little boy is growing up quickly, I get a subtle reminder that he is still so little. Like when he still needs a little help to reach the taller places on his path in life…

Brave Little Man | Inland Empire OpLove Photographer

I met up with RT to take some photos for his daddy whom is overseas right now. It’s going to be a while before they get to see each other in person again but in the meantime, his dad gets an album with images of his brave little man to cherish. Thank you Soldier for your dedication to our country! Godspeed!

The B Family | Inland Empire Family Photographer

A couple of weeks ago I hopped on a plane to Colorado to meet Phil and Allison’s baby boy, Camden. I was there just for the weekend and since I didn’t have my kiddos with me, I was able to love up on this little sweetie and only had to share him when he needed to eat. We spent all day Saturday taking pictures of him… I loved that there wasn’t really a time constraint! He was the perfect little model!

Thank you guys for having me in your home! I sure miss all of you already and can’t wait to see you again! xoxo

  2. Corey

Hee hee! So cute! The sequencing had me rolling. The kitchen shelf shot is pure gold!

  3. Tammy

I didn’t realize you had these up, I have to see all of them! I will come over maybe Friday to see them and you. Love the Kitchen one too, cute.. so many good ones, can’t wait to see the rest. Wish I was there with you when you took them.

  4. Sean

Poor dogs should never be so small… tisk-tisk. However, the beautiful family and baby (and gorgeous photography) make up for the dog’s “short”comings.

  5. Jennifer

    Great job.. Love these!!

  6. Linda Newby

Friend of Grandpa’s from the Marriott. He is so proud of his family and the pictures are just perfect.

The R Family | Inland Empire Family Photographer

About 4 years ago or so I peeked out my blinds to see who was moving in next door. Lucky for me it was a small family with children about the ages of mine. We lived next door to each other for a short period of time (until our family moved away) and would watch the kids play for hours on end in the front yard. Brianne and I stayed in touch while we were in Colorado but not until we moved back last year did our friendship really grow.

This family was brought into our lives for a reason. They are amazing. Not only can we talk about anything but our children can too! Our oldest boys are 1 month apart, the middle girls are 3 months apart and the little boys are 4 months apart. Destiny? I think so!

We decided a few weeks ago that it was time for some new family photos. When they showed up this weekend I was so in love with their clothing choice! The rich jewel tones are so perfect for Fall. And to top it all? I got smiles… genuine smiles… out of everyone.

Thank you guys for being a part of our lives. You’re never getting rid of us now… we’re here to stay.haha!

xoxo

Five on Friday

1. This week I brought Ashton to the El Cerrito Public Library for storytime with the local firefighters. I haven’t been there since Amanda was about a year old… maybe around the time they opened up for business… not sure. It’s a cute {very little} place with fun activities for the kids. Their hours are kind of odd but I’ll take it. If you haven’t been, they have storytime on Wednesday mornings at 10:30am. You can always check out their Facebook page for information on upcoming activities. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime! The picture on the left is of Ashton when the firefighters walked into the room. He was SO happy to see them!

2. We’ve gone through about 13lbs of Gala apples in the last 10 days! I guess it’s a good thing they have been about 88 cents a pound lately because this family is mowing through them. I’ve made baked apple chips and plan to make apple coffee cake this weekend. But if I don’t prepare them quickly, they get eaten whole {or with Nutella or peanut butter for miss}. Do you have any favorite apple recipes you want to share?

3. I have to set mental timers and readily prepare myself if I’m going to even click on the Pinterest link. One rule to myself is that unless the kids want to look for something on there {and yes, they definitely do sometimes} then I won’t get on when they are awake. It works. Most of the time.

4. I haven’t seen my mama for nearly 18 months. That is one heck of a long time for this mamas girl… in fact, it’s the longest time ever! BUT my fabulous grandma bought her a plane ticket for her big 50th birthday to come spend a long weekend with us next month. Can you say EXCITING?!?! I’m debating on telling the kids that Grammy is coming or surprising them when we go to the airport to pick her up. Oooh, it’s going to be awesome!

5. It’s 5:25am and I just poured myself a second cup of coffee. At this time of the morning when I can sit down, uninterrupted, with a cup of hot joe in my hands… or sitting on my desk, whatever… I’m able to prepare myself for the day. It’s rejuvenating. So, happy Friday to you! Have a great weekend!
